Students build confidence, creativity and performance skills while working in small groups guided by highly skilled teachers.
Mini Sing Act Dance (Ages 4–6 | 45 minutes)
Mini Sing Act Dance is designed for our youngest performers and provides a playful, nurturing introduction to musical theatre.
Classes focus on:
confidence and self-expression
musicality and rhythm
imaginative movement and storytelling
listening skills and group participation
Through games, songs and creative activities, students begin to explore singing, acting and dance in a fun, safe and encouraging environment where every child feels included and supported.
Who Sing Act Dance Is For
Sing Act Dance is suitable for:
students new to performing arts
children looking to build confidence and communication skills
performers who enjoy singing, acting and movement
students wanting a strong foundation in musical theatre
No previous experience is required, just a willingness to participate and have fun.
Classes are taught in small groups by highly skilled teachers who focus on growth, encouragement and clear guidance.
Every student is supported as an individual, with age-appropriate expectations and a strong emphasis on enjoying the learning process.
Sing Act Dance (Ages 7+ | 90 minutes)
Our 90-minute Sing Act Dance classes are ideal for students who are ready to deepen their skills and enjoy a more structured musical theatre experience.
Each class includes:
Singing – developing vocal confidence, technique and ensemble skills
Acting – exploring character, storytelling and stage presence
Dance – building coordination, musicality and movement confidence
This integrated format supports students who are new to musical theatre as well as those with previous experience, allowing each child to grow at their own pace within a supportive group environment.
What Makes Sing Act Dance Different
Unlike single-discipline classes, Sing Act Dance allows students to develop all three core musical theatre skills together. This integrated approach helps students:
build confidence across multiple performance areas
understand how singing, acting and movement work together on stage
develop strong stage awareness and storytelling skills
grow steadily without pressure or competition
Our focus is always on progress, participation and pride, rather than perfection.
Acting & Dance Technique Classes
Focused training to support confidence, skill and musical theatre development
Our technique classes are designed to support students who would like to focus on specific skills alongside their musical theatre training. These classes offer additional opportunities to build confidence, coordination and performance technique in a structured, encouraging environment.
Technique classes can be taken on their own or in combination with Sing Act Dance, depending on each student’s interests, experience and goals. As always, our focus is on growth, enjoyment and individual progress.
Technique classes support and complement our core Sing Act Dance program but are not required for participation.
Mini Dance
Mini Dance classes are designed for younger students who love to move and express themselves through music.
Classes focus on:
foundational movement skills
coordination and balance
musicality and rhythm
confidence and enjoyment in dance
Mini Dance provides a gentle, encouraging introduction to dance within a supportive group environment.
Tap (Junior & Senior)
Tap classes introduce and develop rhythmic awareness, timing and coordination in a fun, structured way.
Students learn:
basic through to progressive tap technique
rhythm, musical phrasing and footwork
performance skills and group awareness
Tap is a fantastic complement to musical theatre training, supporting musicality and stage confidence.

Our acting classes support students who want to explore storytelling, character and expression in more depth.
Students develop:
confidence in speaking and performing in front of others
improvisation and creative expression
script work, monologues and scene study
foundational techniques for stage (and introductory screen skills)
Classes are taught in a supportive setting that encourages risk-taking, imagination and collaboration, helping students grow both as performers and communicators.

These classes support students who enjoy dance and want to develop greater ease and clarity in musical theatre movement.
Performance Ensembles
Extension opportunities for students with a passion for performing
Performance Ensembles at Boutique Music Theatre are designed as extension classes for students who love performing and are ready to deepen their musical theatre experience. These ensembles provide additional opportunities to develop stagecraft, teamwork and performance confidence in a supportive, professional environment.
Ensemble training focuses on purposeful performance, collaboration and pride in progress. Classes are always aligned with our belief that growth and enjoyment come before pressure or competition.
What Are Performance Ensembles?
Performance Ensembles offer students the chance to:
rehearse and perform as part of a dedicated group
build stage presence and performance confidence
